Woodbridge Cross Country Classic, Friday and Sunday at the Great Park in Irvine.  Nearly 300 schools, with 28 from out of state, are scheduled to run this super-fast 3 mile event that is contested mostly under the lights.

Â Already this week, the Palomares League has postponed their opening cluster meet and the meet directors of the Running Brave Invite (scheduled for Saturday at Santa Fe Dam) made the decision to cancel their meet due to the anticipated heat.
