While the XC teams of the East San Gabriel Valley are gearing up to open this Saturday, a few can’t help but be looking forward to next week’s prestigious Woodbridge Invitational, which this year moves to a new course at Estancia HS in Costa Mesa.
The acceptances into the evening Sweepstakes and Rated races were released today, and our area is strongly represented.
State finalists Claremont and Glendora will line up in the boys Sweepstakes race, and fast rising South Hills will run in the Rated Race. Lauren Justus (Sr, Glendora) and Carly Lake (Jr, Charter Oak) will run in the girls Sweepstakes race, while St. Lucy’s is in the Rated race.
