California are still rolling from their Rated (and 8th overall) win at Woodbridge, and even absent a top runner, a steady effort was enough for a 22 point finish, as the Condors put five in the first eight.  Senior Cuellar was followed across the line by junior Angel Aguirre in 15:24.

El Rancho edged Whittier for second with a better sixth man.  In a closely contested battle, Donald Brown led the Dons at 3rd/15:28, but #6 man Jonathan Modesto 17th/16:14 broke the tie, besting Whittier’s #5 by just three seconds!

The next three teams were well back.  Fourth-placed Santa Fe’s best was Luis Viteri 23rd/17:13.  La Serna was next, paced by Diego Berrera 14th/16:06 while Mario Gomez was best for Pioneer at 22nd/16:48
