Nogales’ Osvaldo Cervantes from last year’s CIF Finals

Osvaldo Cervantes (Nogales) continues his strong senior season with  2nd/15:11 finish – 27 seconds faster than last year here. California were a good 2nd, Andres Salinas led the way at 10th/15:34, but it was another uneven day for the Condors.  Claremont’s B-Team was just behind in 3rd, El Rancho was 14th, Alhambra 34th and Mark Keppel 38th.

Claremont showed their depth on the girls side - Emma Carter had the best SGV finish – 15th/18:35, and the Wolfpack’s B-team was 3rd. California was 13th, Alhambra 14th, and El Rancho 29th

In the smaller schools race, the Wilson boys registered a nice 4th place finish. Maranatha was 12th in the smaller schools race. Jonathan Pfeiffer (Wilson) -  3rd/16:13 was the SGV’s best. Gabrielino was 11th and Maranatha 14th in the girls race. Rosemead’s Miranda Lam 11th/20:15 was the top local runner.
